Distrust and Discomfort (不信不快, Fushin Fukai) is the 54th chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

We see an elevated Kei Kurono with clouds above him, he is wearing a full body Gantz Suit while holding both an X-gun and a X-shotgun.
Synopsis[]
The chapter begins with Kei Kurono and Kei Kishimoto talking inside Kurono's apartment, with Kurono bragging about how he killed the Tanaka Alien Boss. Kishimoto seems disinterested, however, opting to talk about Masaru Kato instead, and openly complimenting him when Kurono questions how helpful he really is. This causes Kurono to finally snap, screaming "What the fucking fuck!!" at the top of his lungs, startling Kishimoto. He then goes on a tirade about how Kishimoto really wants to live with Masaru and is simply using Kurono however she wants with no recompense whatsoever. Kishimoto then apologises, gets dressed and thanks him one last time before saying goodbye and leaving, shocking Kurono. He attempts to run after her but by the time he is outside, she is nowhere to be found.
The chapter then cuts to several scenes from Kurono's school life; he is first seen looking at an attractive girl in his class and thinking to himself that he wouldn't mind having a girlfriend like her before she is then seen sometime later embracing her presumed boyfriend. It then shows Kurono attempting to play basketball, but he is easily outrun by his opponents and doesn't stand out in anyway whatsoever, with Kurono thinking to himself "Of course I don't have a girlfriend" and "Of course Kishimoto left".
It finally transitions to Kurono in his apartment, lying on his bed and having flashbacks to the Onion Alien Mission where he incapacitated the large Onion Alien, as well as the Tanaka Alien mission where he barely escaped from the collapsing building which killed several Tanaka Aliens all at once, and the chapter ends with Kurono saying that he wants to return to the Gantz room soon.
