The People in the Old Temple (古寺の人々, Koji no hitobito) is the 2nd chapter of the Gantz:E manga, written by Hiroya Oku and illustrated by Jin Kagetsu.

Synopsis[]
Hanbē and Masakichi find themselves in a room with other men and Black Sphere in the middle. They wonder where they are and one of the men comments this must be the afterlife and that they were all moved here when they died. Hanbē starts looking around wondering from where the light is coming as there is no windows. Masakichi and other men start kicking the doors and walls, but they are not budging.
Few minutes later, they see a beam coming out of the black sphere and a woman appears. She looks like Princess and they guess she may be a daughter to a feudal lord. She wakes up and wonders if this is the afterlife. Hanbē tells her no one knows and wonders if she is a daughter to a noble and what kind of man the shogun is, however another man yells at him for being impudent. In that moment another woman appears who gets their attention and asks them to listen.
