Masakichi (政吉, Masakichi) is a young man living in a town in the Edo Period of Japan, unlike Hanbē, he appears to have some sort of training as a swordsman.
He, alongside Hanbē, dies while trying to save Okinu from drowning in a river, and is teleported into the Gantz room.
Appearance[]
Masakichi has dark hair which partially covers part of his face. He is seen frowning very often.

He appears to be the calm type of man, strong and independent, he knows how to fight and defend himself.

Meeting Hanbe and Death[]
He is first mentioned by O-haru has the man she is in love with. This prompts Hanbe to meet him, and after finding him training in swordplay in the woods, Hanbe challenges into wrestling. Soon the both of them start fighting, however, the fight is interrupted as a small girl falls into a river, which makes both of them jump into the river and rescue her, they succeed, however, both of them die by drowning.
