Nobuo Muroya (室谷 信雄, Muroya Nobuo), nicknamed Nobu-yan, is a prominent member of the Gantz team in Osaka. He cleared the game four times. He acts as the leader of the Osaka Team. His girlfriend is Miho Yamanaka. He died fighting the Tengu Alien.
